Team Snipers takes its first step towards the 2027 season, introducing and welcoming David Da Costa to the team.
The young rider, born in 2008 and originally from Venisseux, France, is the 2023 OGP Pre Moto3 Champion.
Da Costa is currently competing in both the Red Bull Rookies Cup and the Moto3 Junior Championship, where he is achieving promising results in both series.
The words of David Da Costa:
“I can’t wait to work with Mirko Cecchini and his whole team. Thank you guys. Signing with Team Snipers for the 2027 Moto3 season means a lot to me. There are so many people, races and experiences that have brought me to this point. I’m grateful to so many people: the management of the French Grand Prix, my parents, Fred Protat, Juan-Eric Gomez, my partners… They have all been by my side and pushed me to keep growing, not only as a rider, but also as a person. Together, we found this path towards Moto3. It’s a big step, but at the same time I feel that it’s the right one. Snipers has a long history of developing young riders. I still have a lot to prove, but I will approach every step, every mistake and every success as an opportunity to improve, just as I have always done.”

“Our participation in the Moto3 Junior Championship allowed us to notice David’s positive attitude, as well as his significant progression from his first race up to today, and the same applies to the Red Bull Rookies Cup.
