More than 50 years in the World Championship

One of the racing teams with half a century of experience in motorcycle competitions. The history of the Snipers began in 1964, born from the experience and passion of Giancarlo Cecchini; many great champions have passed through his hands, and no fewer than 8 world titles were won with him, the last in 2004 with Andrea Dovizioso.
The Pesaro-based team has always been a key player in the Moto3 category. Today, it is his son Mirko who carries on his father's passion, and the name Snipers is an international and friendly way to pay tribute to him.

In 2025, Team Snipers expands the family and embraces new challenges: in addition to its established commitment in Moto3, it participated in the MotoE World Championship, bringing its experience and dedication to electric competitions as well, earning 4 podiums out of 7 GPs in the team's first and only year in this category.
Since 2025, the team has also been present alongside IGAX Racing in the ESBK and FIM Moto Junior World Championship, strengthening its presence in the feeder categories to the World Championship and continuing to nurture the talents of the future.
