Saturday morning's session was dedicated to fine-tuning the bikes and improving the riders' feel without attempting significant time attacks. The primary goal was to ensure optimal preparation for the decisive qualifying sessions.
Q2 began during the hottest part of the day, with a highly competitive atmosphere evident from the first moments.
Riccardo Rossi got off to a strong start but encountered slower riders during his first run, forcing him wide and costing him his lap. Nicola Carraro managed to complete a solid lap, positioning himself in key spots before returning to the pit for a tire change.
With only one chance left for a flying lap in the second run, Riccardo delivered a fast lap despite some imperfections, maintaining a competitive pace.
Nicola lit up the timing screens with a red sector, raising hopes within the team as he neared pole position. His lap continued with remarkable precision until he caught up with a group of slower riders ahead, creating a significant obstacle.
Despite the interference, Nicola still managed an impressive lap, but what could have been a top-three result ended up just outside the top 10 due to the disruption.

The Grand Prix starts with a fright as Riccardo Rossi is involved in an incident with two other riders after a fierce first lap battle. The rider ahead of him crashes and remains on the racing line, leaving Riccardo with no chance to avoid the collision. Fortunately, none of the riders sustain sriuos injuries.
On the other side of the garage, Nicola Carraro kicks off his race with determination, aggressively pushing in the early laps to stay with the leading group and position himself for a fight for top spots in the final stages.
Nicola makes his presence felt, staying firmly in the leading group and maintaining a position in the top 5 throughout the middle portion of the race.
An intense battle unfolds within the group of 12 riders leading the race, with Nicola seeking every opportunity to move forward in the closing laps.
In the final lap, the rider behind Nicola attempts an overly ambitious overtake, forcing both himself and Nicola wide and causing them to lose contact with the leading group in the last 15 corners.
Comments
Nicola Carraro reflects on his result:
"I’m disappointed with this 11th place because our race was ruined on the final lap by another rider. However, I’m happy because the bike is performing very well, there’s a lot of trust within the team, and we want to keep working in this direction."
Riccardo Rossi comments on the weekend despite the crash:
"The weekend had its challenges, but it was still a positive progression. We managed to show our potential in several sessions, and I felt fast for the race. Unfortunately, on the second lap, I hit a rider who crashed right in front of me, and avoiding him was impossible. We’ll work on maintaining this confidence as we focus on the upcoming races."
