The sun accompanied the first day of testing at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, with consistently dry track conditions allowing the team and riders to carry out particularly productive work ahead of the championship.
It was an intense and productive day, during which both riders made full use of the track time to test various technical solutions and regain the best possible confidence with the bike.
Nicola Carraro was the first of the two Snipers riders to head out on track, completing numerous runs throughout the day and totaling 62 laps overall. He showed steady improvement, highlighted by his personal best lap time set on his penultimate run.
After further setup work on the bike, Jesus Rios also took to the track, making the most of the entire day not only in search of lap time but above all to build the best feeling with his Honda. The young Spaniard completed 64 laps, set his best time on his 60th lap, and secured a positive Top 15 finish, with limited gaps to the top.

In Jerez, the team made further progress, allowing both Nicola Carraro and Jesus Rios to experiment with new technical solutions and improve their feeling throughout the day.
Both riders managed to lower their best times compared to the previous day: Carraro improved his personal benchmark by over one second, setting his fastest lap on his 43rd run out of a total of 63 laps completed. Rios also made a significant step forward, shaving around 1.5 seconds off his previous day’s best time, completing a total of 54 laps and finishing as the best rookie on track, with a confident 8th place.
Comments
Tests partially affected by the cold, but Nicola Carraro remains ready and motivated for the opening round of the championship:

Positive feelings for Jesus Rios:
“These two test days were more useful than the ones in Portugal. I saw good progression and I’m happy with the results. Now I’m really looking forward to starting the championship.”
