A weekend of steady progress concludes with positive signs ahead of the start of the championship
April 11th - 13th
The Snipers Team officially debuted in the MotoE category during the pre-season tests in Barcelona, marking a historic moment with the first outing of the Ducati V21L.
Nicholas Spinelli and Tibor Erik Varga, the riders chosen to represent the team in this exciting 2025 adventure, showcased commitment and steady progress, bringing great enthusiasm to the entire team.
Spinelli, now a veteran of the category, confirmed his value with competitive lap times and consistent performances in race simulations, proving to be one of the championship’s key players.
On the other hand, rookie Varga impressed with his quick adaptability and continuous improvement on track, despite a collision that affected part of his second day of testing.
Thanks to impeccable teamwork and a targeted development strategy, the Snipers Team has already laid a solid foundation for the season. With an eye on Le Mans, the team is determined to make a strong debut in the championship and demonstrate its potential.
Comments
The first approach as shared by Tibor Varga:
"It’s been three important yet challenging days. I really like the team and also the bike; it’s just very different from any other bike I’ve raced. Unfortunately, on the second day, another rider caused me to crash, slightly affecting the confidence I had built. In any case, I can’t wait to be in Le Mans to get even more laps on the bike and finally start the season!"
Nicholas Spinelli is very pleased with the three days of testing, fully aware that there’s always room for improvement in some areas:
“Overall, the tests were quite positive. I believe we worked very well, understanding many things that will be useful for the championship. Our race pace is very strong, although we face a bit more difficulty with single-lap times, but I’m still very confident for the races. I want to thank the team for the great work we’ve done in preparation for the season, as well as the sponsors and my family for their incredible support.”
